The Family Resource Centre receives core funding from TUSLA, the Child and Family Agency. This funding offsets the salaries of a full-time Project Coordinator, an Administrator and a Development Worker.

Any other activities and costs are sourced from various sources by staff and volunteers.  To date, we have been successful in accessing funding for two part-time Parent Support Workers through TUSLA, a Childcare Manager and two Childcare Workers through POBAL funding under the Department of Children.

Formal and Community Education courses are financially supported by the LCETB – Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board (formerly VEC) and Ballyhoura Development. Many of the other programmes are possible due to Philanthropical initiatives where we are informed of funds and apply according to defined requirements.

Participants on various programmes pay a nominal fee. We do not fundraise in the community.

As a charity we are very conscious of accountability and transparency in our work and regularly review and update our financial protocols.  Please see publications section for our latest audited accounts.
